We’re quietly looking for a horse‑friendly property close to Mapleton National Park trailheads. If you know of something off‑market, we’d love to hear from you.
It’s time for a new view
Where to from here?
Pelham House and Cottage have been an incredible few years and we think we are ready to step up to the next challenge. After spending a few years in the Blackall Range in the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland though, it’s hard to imagine going back to the hustle and bustle of the city or even the metropolitan coastal centres.
We’re ready to move for the right place and we’re keen to keep owners’ privacy intact. If this sounds like your neighbour’s paddock or a place you’ve been thinking of selling quietly, here’s the short version of what we’re after.

Under $800k (vacant land meeting the brief)
Land and layout
-
Land size
2+ acres (ideal 5–10 ac, open to 10+). We need usable pasture for two horses and reasonable gradients with practical float access.
-
Zoning / Land use
Rural or Rural‑Residential, clearly suitable for keeping horses and a two legged friend or two for a home-based horse tourism accommidation.
-
Buildings
A house is preferred. Open to a little elbow grease if the bones are good, We’ll consider vacant land if it meets access and grazing as we aren’t afraid to move another Queenslander.
And a few nice to haves…
Secondary dwelling or clear potential for one
Good sheds and established services
Not landlocked; simple in/out with the float
Gentle slopes and usable paddock space
